MHT-39 Re-used

It is always expensive, and quite often also difficult, to change usage of buldings. Mestaritalo at Tehtaankatu-street was originally in industrial use, now mainly used as offices. Old strutures has been saved, which creates unique athmosphere. Some details, such as this staircase, are real eye-catchers. 

MHT-3 Säätytalo - House of the Estates

Kruununhaassa sijaitseva Säätytalo on rakennettu alun perin valtiopäivien käyttöön ja toimii nyt Valtioneuvoston edustustilana. Rakennus on huolellisesti entisöity ja täynnä upeita yksityiskohtia.

House of the Estates was originally built and used as a Parliament house, now it a serves Finnish government. House has been carefully renovated and it is covered with beautiful details.
